The LASIMRA Media Center provides the unique platform to reach out to all stakeholders in Lagos State.


Our Media center features news, events, press releases, and public notices relating to all aspects of our operations, as it positively impacts on the people and government of Lagos State. We also believe in creating an enabling environment where all operators can effectively carry out their businesses.

our functions

  1. Establish standards and procedures for constructing lines and laying of cables across public lands and property;

  2. Construct and co-ordinate schedules among utility service providers in Lagos State;

  3. Supervise the use, repair, resurfacing and construction of damaged roads in Lagos State;

  4. Ensure public safety in the use of public Right of Way by gas, telephone, electric, cable companies and other persons in Lagos State;

  5. Keep track of the various systems using the public right of way to prevent interference among facilities;

  6. Monitoring the erection of towers, masts or laying of cables within the State in the interest of public health and safety;

  7. Prevent the breaking of roads without a permit; Establish harmonized routes for laying of cables, etc;

  8. Provide protection for the network of roads in Lagos State; Reduce damage of public utilities;

  9. Co-ordinate and harmonize the routes used by private telecommunication operators;

  10. Perform such other functions as may be specified by any law or enactment;

  11. Undertake such other activities as are necessarily expedient for giving full effect to the provisions of this Law.
